Project 365: The Full Collection Part 2

And here is round 2 of the complete collection! See part 1 here. :) July 2, 2010 - October 9, 2010:

More things I learned from doing Project 365:
* Keeping your camera on you at all times gives you the opportunity to capture really important, fun, exciting, and inspiring moments.
* It's really easy to take a horrible photograph...but with a little effort and thinking, (and a new perspective) you can capture something that's really very beautiful.
* I have really improved in my photography skills. The first batch and this one compared to my last photographs is SO different.

AND I'm out for a coffee break...hope your day is wonderful and cozy!

Project 365: Day 362-365 - la fin

This week has really been wonderful. I wrapped up my work week, then Jonathon and I packed our bags for a thirty minute trip to his parents' house where we stayed for the weekend. We threw a wedding shower for some good friends of ours, spent time with the family, took a little break from our everyday happenings, and ate lots of yummy food! Now, I am refreshed and relaxed for this week to start. :)

On another note, I am so excited to announce that I have officially completed my first year of Project 365! For those of you who may not be familiar with project 365, you can read more info about it here, but in short, it's one photo, everyday for a year. I am so thankful that I decided to capture this particular year. To give you just a little idea of what the year entailed, here is a brief wrap-up: senior year of college, graduation, wedding showers, wedding day, honeymoon, first home, first little kitten, jobs, first holidays together as a married couple, the start of MaieDae!! -- and so much more. I started 365 before I began this blog, so most of you have just jumped into the tail-end of my project, but keep on the lookout this week for a special post (image heavy) of all 365 photos! Here are the final four photos:

Bedroom Make-Over Progress: A Duvet

I've made it a goal during these next couple of months to work on decorating our bedroom to make it our own little escape. For an apartment, it's a larger room so I'm trying to make it super cozy. I've got a lot of plans for it, but a major piece (our bedding!) has come in, so I wanted to give you a peek at the decorating progress!

I haven't quite decided on the pillow situation yet -- I might try to find some huge euro pillows to go in the very back and add in a couple more colorful//shapely pillows. I got the duvet from UO and I just LOVE that it's reversible! I'm a big fan of changing things up, so this is perfect. :)

Next on the bedroom decor agenda:
* Paint wall behind bed a deep charcoal
* Replace black side tables with floating shelves
* Find curtains
* Put together artwork for above bed
* Find lamps

I'll keep you updated on the progress!
