Warby + Indie Biz = A Happy Girl

Remember when you helped me pick out a pair of Warby Parkers from my "Try on 5 Trial"? Well, thanks to your help and the attentiveness of my sweet husband, I picked out a pair of super cute geeky Warby's and I love them! A little try-on for you:

I'm such a fan of their company and mission statement (not to mention cute frames) that I'm thinking about buying another pair. I don't know about you, but when it comes to glasses, I'm the worst at smudging them all up and whatnot. Not only am I the worst, but I can't get them clean to save my life! I feel like I'm looking through a foggy window (which must really look odd to strangers.) My method is obviously off, so for now I just commission Jon to clean them. What a champ. :)

On another note, I'm a couple days into the online class Indie Biz 3.0 and so far, it's been a blast. I just wanted to show you a little peek of one of the projects I did for the class which was putting together a "style sheet" to start narrowing down my personal taste.

If you've been thinking about taking the Indie Biz online course, I would highly suggest it even if you're already established, or maybe just entertaining the idea of having your own business. Totally worth it, plus it's neat to jump in with a community of people that are passionate and striving towards the same things you are.

I have a show coming up in ONE WEEK for my Handmades, which means I have work to do!! Catch you later!

  4. I wouldnt recommend the Indie biz, as its more of a creativity course and doesnt have essential business information. its exactly the same course as last year so dont go back if your alumni. Not meaning to be a downer or anything but this one for me is very disappointing. I just hope i meet lots of lovely peoples!

I highly recommend decor8s blogging your way. and there are loooads of tutorials on etsy forums for business!
