Inspiration for Your Nest: Photo Walls

I've been collecting a little pile of photos and artwork I would like to use in a collage above our couch in the living room. I'm SO stuck with so many choices and what to use//not use. I've been looking for some creative inspiration and decided to dedicate my nesting feature to it!

All photo's found here via my Pinterest
About five pictures up (the one with the yellow tray on the coffee table), they've used what appears to be clothes hangers to display their art...I LOVE this...I have a couple of pieces that would look best displayed just like that. Anyone know where I can find these little cuties?

AND if you haven't heard, Jon and I re-signed our lease for another 14 months which is FANTASTIC. I've been a little apathetic when it comes to walls and wanted to have more security in knowing we would be staying before going nuts on the walls. Walls...be prepared!

Happy nesting!

These are all so amazing. I'm hoping when I get married, the other half will let me create something like this in our living room =) x

  6. Sorry, I don't know where to find those hangers, but I owe you a big, fat "Thank You!" because that yellow tray in the picture was originally silver....and very dated looking. I know this because I have the exact same one (actually two of them)! I have been trying to figure out how to use them and WHA-LA! There it is: PAINT THEM! Thank you, thank you!

  7. I love all of these suggestions!!! I recently put up all of our Polaroid pics. I used twine & made a big fat zig-zag pattern with it going down one of our smaller walls & clothes-pinned them all to it. It's good for now & really easy to switch up when I get bored of it. :D

  8. Thanks for putting this together. I'm currently in the middle of putting together a photo wall and could use some inspiration. I love all of them. How do I choose which totally random design is going to work for me??/

  9. Veda House - GOOD question. My process right now has just been to collect items and frames that I most like. After I finish creating my pile I'll just start laying everything out on the floor and play around with placement...see what I might be missing and then finally put it up on the wall. It's like a puzzle! Best of luck. :)
