I've been really drawn to mixing neutrals and metals together. I've found myself doing that in my decorating and as I pick out outfits for myself. I also like a little pop of color and a little glam too. ;)

My pop of color for this outfit is a beautiful handcrafted bib necklace by Noonday Collection. All of their pieces are handmade by women in need of jobs in Uganda. They also raise money for adoptions and orphan care. Their collection of jewelry, home-goods and accessories are beautiful. You can find out more about them here.

I wore this mint dress as a bridesmaid at Jenny's wedding. She gave us a color palette and let us all pick out our dress preference. I loved the fact that she did this and that I now have a wearable, flowy dress to add to my wardrobe. I haven't worn it since her wedding last June but I have a lot of plans for it this spring/summer.

The weather in Atlanta lately has been beautiful. I hope that it stays like this a good month or more before the heat and the humidity come. In the meantime, I'll be storing away my heavy jackets and thick sweaters!

Got a little slouchy hat action going on here. I've always found it difficult to wear hats with big curly hair but I think the trick is, make 'em big! Little hats just give us curly headed girls a mushroom head effect, so when going for the hat purchase, make sure there is plenty of "head space" and room for those curls, ladies!

I can tell this is going to be one of my favorite outfits as the Georgia weather turns slightly warm, slowly but surely. :) Don't you love when you find those pieces in your wardrobe that become your favorites and staple items for a long time? This button up top, maxi skirt, and fringe boots are definitely that for me. You know when you can pair your favorites together that it's going to be a great outfit!

This is what I wore during my trip to Greenville for The Makers Summit. I must really like this green sweater because it's the third time in a row I've worn it for an outfit post. ;) I just love being cozy and wearing lots of layers. I'm always tempted to throw on a pair of jeans during cold days, but throwing lots of layers over a dress works too. :) By the way, this day in Greenville was COLD...there were even snow flurries during the conference.

Last Saturday was a surprisingly beautiful day in Georgia. It felt like fall with a slight breeze and bright blue skies. Georgia seriously has the strangest weather.

One of my favorite wardrobe tricks is wearing dresses as skirts. I love how this gives a whole new look to a dress and gives your closet even more outfit options. I'm also loving these socks from Tabbisocks. They sent me a box full of cozy socks; I'm a huge fan of keeping warm so I loved how cozy and soft everything was. I even got a pair of these, perfect for lounging around the house with leggings and giant sweaters. ;)

On New Years Eve, Jon and I decided to have a little "getaway" in the city. Although the downtown area is only a couple minutes away from our condo, it's one of our favorite ways to pretend we are going on a mini vacation. We tried out a new restaurant, stayed in a hotel at Atlantic Station, walked to the theatre and saw Les Miserables, talked about our favorite memories from 2012 and some of the things we would like to do in 2013. It was such a great time away.

Jon snapped a couple shots of me after we ate lunch. We loved this distressed wood wall on the side of the restaurant. Can you believe these are phone pictures? I am amazed at technology.

I'm working on getting a lot done this morning because this afternoon Jon and I are driving up North with some friends to stay in a cabin this weekend! So far, January is filled with adventure!
