2014 MAIEDAE MIXER SWAG CALL AND ANNOUNCEMENTS!

Guys! The second annual Maiedae Mixer is THIS September! We are SO excited and have been busy behind the scenes planning and putting together some fun things for this year's event. Last year truly was amazing and it was so wonderful to meet so many of you and have an event to celebrate and meet new people. A few things to note and be excited about for this year:

1. This year's Mixer will be held in the downtown Atlanta area! We will be announcing the venue SOON and we think you'll really love it...it's beautiful and perfect for the Mixer!

2. The event will be on Saturday, September 20th 6:00PM-9:00PM. Be sure to mark your calendars!

3. We will only be selling 80 tickets, so be sure to get yours! Tickets go on sale June 1st at 12:00PM EST. :) - Tickets are $125 and include an amazing swag bag, delicious food and drinks, Smilebooth, crafting time, your name entered to win some amazing prizes and an incredible evening to meet new people and dress up! We have a few more surprises in store and we can't wait to announce them soon!

SWAG & RAFFLE CONTRIBUTOR CALL!
Do you make handmade goods or run a shop? We would love to work with you for this year's Mixer! We will be putting together a beautiful swag bag for each attendee and we want to feature beautiful handmade items and goodies from your shop! -- We also have an opportunity for you to contribute to our raffled prizes that we will be giving away throughout the night. CAPTURED: THE MAIEDAE MIXER

We recently uploaded some photos from the Mixer to our Facebook page and I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you!! The location was SO stunning. It was held in Rome, GA, in their quaint little downtown area. We got a location that was fully furnished with beautiful pieces and spent a lot of time before hand-making decorations for the event with a team of amazing ladies.

We had beautiful swag bags with lots of goodies (more on that soon), giveaway prizes, Barb Blair came to sign her "Furniture Makeovers" book and speak to the attendees, we had Smilebooth, a great DJ, live band (thanks to my brother and sister!), yummy desserts, pour-over coffee, and an amazing flower crown making table in the center of the room. It was such a great event, Jenny and I can't stop talking about how much fun we had planning it and putting it on for such amazing and creative women. We can't wait to do another next year!

MAIEDAE MIXER - SMILEBOOTH!

Oh my goodness! The Maiedae Mixer was on Saturday and it was amazing!! It was SO exciting to see our event become a reality and see everyone's' beautiful faces there! It was better than Jenny and I could have dreamed. We are so incredibly thankful to everyone who came and can't wait to do one again next year! Photos should be posted soon, but I wanted to share a quick preview of some of my favorite photos from Smilebooth. Love how these turned out!! It was so great meeting new friends and getting a bunch of ladies together that love having fun and being creative! You should totally play the song while looking through these photos. So good.

ANNOUNCING: THE MAIEDAE MIXER!

Jenny and I are incredibly excited to announce that we will be hosting the first annual Maiedae Mixer!! This event has been in the planning stages for the last several months and we are stoked about making this first announcement and putting together a spectacular party!

What's The Maiedae Mixer? The Mixer is a "Get Fancy. Get Connected" event for bloggers. It's a time to pamper yourself, meet creatives and best of all, dress up! Basically it's one big networking evening with food, music, swag, giveaways, crafts, a photo-booth and some face to face mingling with new friends.

Why The Mixer? Let's face it, the blogging community in the Southeast Region is a *little* small. We wanted to start meeting other amazing blogging ladies and create an event that we can all look forward to every year. One of our favorite things is meeting new people, so let's dress up and make a party out of it! Besides, we all need a reason to get a little fancy and wear some lipstick. ;)

I Wanna Go! What are the Details?! The first Mixer will be held on the evening of June 1, 2013 in downtown Rome, Georgia. Early bird tickets will go on sale March 1st for $95.00. Your ticket will cover the event, including; food & drinks, crafting, photo-boothing, swag goodies and your name entered into several giveaways throughout the night. We will only be selling 50 tickets, so be sure to mark your calendar for March 1st to purchase your ticket!
