I've never been much of a hat person, but while doing a little shopping in Atlantic Station with Jon I came across this beautiful wide-brimmed fedora at GAP and tried it on for him. He loved it and convinced me to buy it. I'm happy I did, because this is my new favorite hat...perfect for when my curls get a little frizzy and I still want to look put together. :) Since these pictures were taken I've gotten a new haircut! New haircut pictures will be coming next week! I love the way my curls bounce back when I get my haircut...it's been a little over a year since my last cut and my ends NEEDED it! ;)

Even though I don't love being cold, I LOVE wearing big blanket-like sweaters. This one is a little more dressy; but so, so cozy. To dress up my oversized sweater I paired it with some shiny leggings, my favorite blowfish shoes, and a new statement necklace. Comfortable and dressy. :)

Can you have too many cream sweaters? Because I'm super tempted to get the one above! ;) Where are your favorite places to buy oversized sweaters and outerwear??

I'm really exciting about today's threads post. I wore this outfit on Sunday and love the combination of patterns and colors. This outfit was SUPER comfortable & inexpensive!

You may be wondering about those shoes, "How comfortable can they really be?!"...Just to let you know, I think high heels are beautiful but I never ever wear them because they kill my feet! I was shopping in target a couple weeks ago and found the little beauties above and thought, "No way can they be comfortable," but I tried them on and was surprised that they felt great! I made sure to get a size that was 1/2 smaller than what I normally wear so they would be secure, but I've been able to wear these shoes all day without taking them off and feel completely comfortable! The secret is really finding platforms that are stable and secure. Even though I was in 4 1/2" shoes, it really only felt like an inch. And NOW I want to find more....being short is fun, but going from 5'3" to 5'7" makes me feel like a superstar. ;)
