We recently uploaded some photos from the Mixer to our Facebook page and I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you!! The location was SO stunning. It was held in Rome, GA, in their quaint little downtown area. We got a location that was fully furnished with beautiful pieces and spent a lot of time before hand-making decorations for the event with a team of amazing ladies.
We had beautiful swag bags with lots of goodies (more on that soon), giveaway prizes, Barb Blair came to sign her "Furniture Makeovers" book and speak to the attendees, we had Smilebooth, a great DJ, live band (thanks to my brother and sister!), yummy desserts, pour-over coffee, and an amazing flower crown making table in the center of the room. It was such a great event, Jenny and I can't stop talking about how much fun we had planning it and putting it on for such amazing and creative women. We can't wait to do another next year!
If you'd like to see more photos, be sure to check-out our Facebook page! Also be on the lookout for more photos to be uploaded later!

WEAR: WHAT I WORE TO THE MAIEDAE MIXER
This year's theme at the Mixer was "Ethereal". Jenny and I decided to pick a theme in order for our attendees to get creative and dress up for the event. We also wanted to leave the definition open-ended so each girl could interpret the theme however they'd like. I've always leaned more towards a bohemian look and decided to kinda go "festival-bohemian" with my Ethereal garb.
I loved wearing this outfit to the Mixer. It felt like me and felt so comfortable. I'm not much of a "heels" type of girl, so getting to wear my favorite boots was the best. The Mixer was such an incredible night and I LOVED seeing everyone's beautiful outfits and flower crowns. We'll be posting more photos from the event soon, so be on the lookout!

FANCY SHMANCY: JUNE WISHLIST
1// Challis Plazo Pants by Target - LOVE how adorable and flowy these dotted pants are from Target. I've always been into my skinny jeans but these looks perfect for the summer. These would be great paired with a high-waisted belt and light t-shirt...and lots of accessories. Too cute.
2// Kitten Cat Sunglasses by Chicwish - I've been wearing a pair of prescription sunglasses from Warby Parker for about a year now and I'm getting a little tired of wearing the same pair of sunglasses over and over again. I've been thinking about buying a few pairs of inexpensive sunnies for the summertime. Love the style of these beautiful sunglasses!
3// Furniture Makeovers by Barb Blair - I've got a couple pieces of furniture in my house that really, REALLY need some TLC. I can't wait to use this book to learn how to make some of my pieces look amazing. I love the idea of purchasing inexpensive furniture from a thrift store and restoring it to make it awesome.
4// iPhone Cases by Rifle Paper Co. - These might be the best looking iPhone cases on the internet. I'm loving Rifle Paper Co. more and more everyday. They are just fantastic. I'm planning to get an updated phone this month and I have my eye on a few cases from Rifle!
5// Weekender Bag - Is it possible to have too many bags? This bag is TOO good. I'm so sad it's unavailable for purchase, but I'm planning to keep an eye on it just in case it comes back in stock!
What is on your June wishlist? :)

Oh my goodness! The Maiedae Mixer was on Saturday and it was amazing!! It was SO exciting to see our event become a reality and see everyone's' beautiful faces there! It was better than Jenny and I could have dreamed. We are so incredibly thankful to everyone who came and can't wait to do one again next year! Photos should be posted soon, but I wanted to share a quick preview of some of my favorite photos from Smilebooth. Love how these turned out!! It was so great meeting new friends and getting a bunch of ladies together that love having fun and being creative! You should totally play the song while looking through these photos. So good.
Be sure to check out the rest of the Smilebooth photos here. :) Be back soon with more photos and goodness from the event. throughout the week. I'm planning to take the rest of the day off to clean house, relax and watch the next episode of Game of Thrones with my husband! Yes!!
