2// Kitten Cat Sunglasses by Chicwish - I've been wearing a pair of prescription sunglasses from Warby Parker for about a year now and I'm getting a little tired of wearing the same pair of sunglasses over and over again. I've been thinking about buying a few pairs of inexpensive sunnies for the summertime. Love the style of these beautiful sunglasses!

3// Furniture Makeovers by Barb Blair - I've got a couple pieces of furniture in my house that really, REALLY need some TLC. I can't wait to use this book to learn how to make some of my pieces look amazing. I love the idea of purchasing inexpensive furniture from a thrift store and restoring it to make it awesome.

WEAR: IT'S STARTING TO GET A LITTLE WARMER

One of my favorite things to wear during the warmer seasons is a maxi dress/skirt. I LOVE how cozy and breezy they are. I usually turn my maxi dresses into skirts so I can wear them in different ways. As well, I've always been a layer type of girl and it can be tricky finding breezy layers to wear when it starts getting hot. I've been loving this black and grey tye-dyed duster vest lately. Perfect for wearing with maxi skirts. ;)

FANCY SHMANCY: MAY WISHLIST

1// Bath & Body Works Candles - This past Saturday, my sister and I had a little shopping date and we were sure to make a stop at Bath & Body Works. I've been having an urge to fill my home with candles lately, so I took some time to smell their 3-wick candles and...omg. They smell amazing. The Market Peach, Summertime S'mores, and Gelato were my favorites. I didn't end up buying any (even though they were on sale!) but I'm definitely putting these on my birthday wish-list.

2// Pacifica Perfume - I've never owned a bottle of perfume before. My husband is super sensitive to strong smells (especially floral ones) and I've always preferred the lighter smell of a body spray. However, I'm always drawn to beautiful perfume bottles and wishing I could find a scent that is light and sweet and not too overbearing. I've really enjoyed some of Pacifica's scents lately and found this bottle of Indian Coconut Nectar and I'm hooked! I think this still acts more like a body spray than a perfume as far as length of scent goes, but the smell is divine! I'm also kinda obsessed with coconut.

3// Sexy Peel Soap by LUSH - I'm a self proclaimed Lushie. I can never leave that store with one thing! I even had a moment this weekend where I deeply considered a job offer from them, but had to turn it down because I'm doing Maiedae (and loving it!). BUT I sure would love that discount! And I love telling people about it. Maybe I'll find some extra time on my hands during the holidays? Unlikely. ;) I've been eyeing this soap for a couple of shopping trips now and finally got them to cut me a slice. It smells like lemon, sugary perfection.

4// Porefessional by Benefit - Benefit wins the award for adorable packaging and clever marketing. I spent several minutes oooing over their booth in Ulta the other day and had the chance to try out this pore corrector/primer goddess of love. The texture is very silky and light and I've heard great reviews on it so far...on my birthday list? Yes please!

5// Rifle Paper Co. Stationary - Because everything in their shop is beautiful and because I really need to write some thank-you cards! My sister-in-law is the best at doing this for everything and I need to get  with the program. I think I'll start with these cards. ;)

6// Salted Caramel Sauce by Sweeteeth - I first discovered this company in Greenville at a hand-makers festival and immediately bought their caramel sauce. It's SO yummy. Especially on popcorn, apples, vanilla bean ice cream, or better yet...hot apple crisp with vanilla bean ice cream and hot salted caramel goodness drizzled all over the place.

FANCY SHMANCY: SPRING TO-DOs

During this beautiful season and beautiful weather, I've been scheming up a lot of fun to-do's for my home and with friends that I want to accomplish before summer hits! I LOVE this time of year.

1// Make fancy drinks for my friends and come up with a couple of recipes of my own. 2// Finally put together my own font. 3// Get my workout on! I love that Jenny and I are now exercise buddies, it's SO helpful having someone to keep you accountable. 4// Have fun with nail art. I'm thinking this also includes a few girl nights with plenty of snacks and a great movie. 5// Decorate the studio space for Maiedae. 6// Sketch out my next tattoo idea and find an artist to put it together for me. 7// Hang plants in my home near the windows. 8// Find a bathing suit. 9// Print photos, including some of these amazing draft sized photos.

1// Flippy Dress - I've been loving the look of a fit and flair dress lately. I'd like to get a small collection to wear this Spring. This pattern is beautiful and would look so great with a pair of colorful shoes and some of my favorite gold jewelry. So ready to start dressing warmer.

2// Rope Hammock Chair - Jon and I have a little porch upstairs that leads out from our bedroom. We've talked about getting a Hammock or swinging chair to put out there to enjoy the sunshine and rest. Now I can't stop thinking about getting one. :)

3// Ipsy Glam Bag - You've heard me talk about Popsugar and I can't wait to get my next box this month! But I'm also excited to start a new subscription service with Ipsy. Ipsy is a $10 per month beauty subscription service that includes premium sized samples of great beauty products. You fill out a mini questionnaire and they put together a custom package for you each month, usually worth $50-$60. I'm really looking forward to trying out some new products!

4// Dainty Rings - I've been collecting gold dainty rings lately and I love the unique shape of this one from Stone & Honey.

5// Moon Nightlight - It's always nice to have a nightlight lighting up dark halls. Why not make it a moon light? I love how this looks and think it would be so pretty in our upstairs hallway.

6// Striped Bow Flats - I love an oversized bow on pointy flats. This is the perfect "mixing patterns" pair of shoes that would look great with so many pieces.

7// Kors Gold Watch - I've been eyeing this beauty for a couple months now. Jenny and I are going to New York in June for the Alt Summit conference and I'm thinking about saving all of my birthday money to buy one there. I tried it on at a store a couple weeks ago and loved how it looked, especially with all that sparkly bling. :)

8// Warby Parker Glasses - It's about time I update my prescription glasses. I'm currently in the process of trying on a few pairs to pick out new ones. Looking forward to seeing better. ;)

9// Modkat Litter Box - I love how attractive and modern these kitty litter boxes are. Our current one is huge, bulky and hard to hide. I like how if these are seen it's not a complete eye/nose assault.

10// Modern Chair - I'm thinking a pair of these for our living room might be the perfect pop of color that we need! I love the shape, legs, and color of these chairs. I'm especially a fan of the sale price. ;)
