Project 365: The Full Collection Part 4

To wrap up my Project 365 officially, here is the last round of photos! January 18, 2011 - March 23, 2011:

A few facts about my 365:
* Our kitty Kaito makes 27 appearances
* I'm in 52 photos
* Husby makes it in 33
* 72 different people
* 18 photos with food
* Used a total of 4 different cameras to complete

I'm so proud of this accomplishment and I really loved doing this challenge. I'm usually horrible at any kind of journaling, so to have a year documented in photographs triggers so many amazing memories that might have been forgotten otherwise. I'm in the process of developing a new 365 project to be started soon and I can't wait to share when I have my final decision. :) If you have been working on any type of 365 project, or completed one, feel free to share your link! I'd love to take a peek.

A happy weekend to you!

Project 365: The Full Collection Part 3

Part 3 of my Project 365 collection. October 10, 2010 - January 17, 2011:

During this time-frame, (toward the end) I received a new camera from my husband and got extra inspiration to improve my photographs. :)

Keep a lookout for that last part of my collection coming soon! And now, I'm going to rest -- I think I might be coming down with a bug, which stinks because this weekend is supposed to be gorgeous...

I hope you have a happy April!

Project 365: The Full Collection Part 2

And here is round 2 of the complete collection! See part 1 here. :) July 2, 2010 - October 9, 2010:

More things I learned from doing Project 365:
* Keeping your camera on you at all times gives you the opportunity to capture really important, fun, exciting, and inspiring moments.
* It's really easy to take a horrible photograph...but with a little effort and thinking, (and a new perspective) you can capture something that's really very beautiful.
* I have really improved in my photography skills. The first batch and this one compared to my last photographs is SO different.

AND I'm out for a coffee break...hope your day is wonderful and cozy!

Project 365: Day 362-365 - la fin

This week has really been wonderful. I wrapped up my work week, then Jonathon and I packed our bags for a thirty minute trip to his parents' house where we stayed for the weekend. We threw a wedding shower for some good friends of ours, spent time with the family, took a little break from our everyday happenings, and ate lots of yummy food! Now, I am refreshed and relaxed for this week to start. :)

On another note, I am so excited to announce that I have officially completed my first year of Project 365! For those of you who may not be familiar with project 365, you can read more info about it here, but in short, it's one photo, everyday for a year. I am so thankful that I decided to capture this particular year. To give you just a little idea of what the year entailed, here is a brief wrap-up: senior year of college, graduation, wedding showers, wedding day, honeymoon, first home, first little kitten, jobs, first holidays together as a married couple, the start of MaieDae!! -- and so much more. I started 365 before I began this blog, so most of you have just jumped into the tail-end of my project, but keep on the lookout this week for a special post (image heavy) of all 365 photos! Here are the final four photos:

Project 365: Day 341-347

This week has been filled to the brim with crafts. We are getting ready for our first show at a Christian women's conference near Atlanta, so every spare minute has been filled with making flowers, jewelry, getting our display together, and designing print pieces. I can't WAIT!  We are selling this Thursday and Friday...so I'll be sure to show pictures of the event. Also, everything we don't sell will start showing it's face in the shop. I've got some new pieces and fabrics and that are just beautiful...

I cannot believe I'm only 18 days away from finishing my 365! I'll be doing a fun tribute post at the end of my project. Right now I'm just trying to decide if I'll continue into year two...or wait??

Project 365: Day 327-333

BUSY week! I've been gone since Tuesday, working with production and graphics at the Chick-fil-A seminar. The days have been long, but I have been productive. I have put so much design work into this seminar and it's just blowing my mind to see my work around every corner! I do, however, miss my husband. I wish he could be here to enjoy the beautiful weather.

* I do not enjoy showering, but I do it anyway for the sake of humanity...and my husband.
* I usually pronounce 20% of my words oddly or completely incorrect. This fact tickles my husband, but at least he thinks I'm cute.
* Although I work for Chick-fil-A corporate...I have never gotten tired of eating their food. I love me some chicken!
