Weekly Wrap Up

For Mother's Day, we spent the first half of the day with my family. My Dad and I made our traditional Mother's Day brunch and we watched old home videos. :) I love my family so much and I'm so proud to have such a wonderful mother with the biggest heart of anyone I know. I thought it would be appropriate to have this week's snapshot be of my parents on their wedding day, 30 years ago.

This week, I got to help my bestie Jenny start her official move to Atlanta! I mentioned Jenny here in my blog -- We are super excited to sign our contracts and make our partnership legal through MaieDae. May and June are going to be exciting months!!

* I have Raynaud's Phenomenon...It's nothing serious: the capillaries in my hands just shut down and loose a lot of their circulation. The weirdest part is that my hands turn ash grey and I look like I have zombie hands!

Weekly Wrap Up

I hope everyone had a happy Easter weekend! Jon and I spent Easter with our family. We went to my parents'//younger siblings' home for lunch and then scooted five minutes away to join Jon's family for dinner. After some much needed and wonderful fellowship, Jon and I spent the rest of our night cuddling up and watching our latest show, "Castle". :)

I was also able to get a lot of planning done for the Indie Craft Experience. I'll be vendoring at this exciting fair in June! The booth is going to look super cute and I can't wait to sell some of the new products I've been working on!

Weekly Wrap Up

SO, before I show my snapshot for the week and leave you with my favorite posts, I have some EXCITING news to share! Yesterday, I found out that I am an official vendor this June at the Indie Craft Experience in Atlanta!! -- I had the opportunity to visit ICE last year and can't believe I'm here, months later, getting ready to prep for the show! If you live in the Southeast, you should definitely make time to stop by. :)

Besides the exciting news above, Jon and I re-signed our apartment lease for another 14 months which means I have more of a motivation to continue nesting, since we are committing to more time. I've got some projects planned for this month that I'll be sure to share!

Since I concluded my latest 365 challenge, I'm planning to use my Sunday post for something new and fun! I've been brainstorming all sorts of exciting ideas and haven't been able to decide just yet. Project 365: Day 362-365 - la fin

This week has really been wonderful. I wrapped up my work week, then Jonathon and I packed our bags for a thirty minute trip to his parents' house where we stayed for the weekend. We threw a wedding shower for some good friends of ours, spent time with the family, took a little break from our everyday happenings, and ate lots of yummy food! Now, I am refreshed and relaxed for this week to start. :)

On another note, I am so excited to announce that I have officially completed my first year of Project 365! For those of you who may not be familiar with project 365, you can read more info about it here, but in short, it's one photo, everyday for a year. I am so thankful that I decided to capture this particular year. To give you just a little idea of what the year entailed, here is a brief wrap-up: senior year of college, graduation, wedding showers, wedding day, honeymoon, first home, first little kitten, jobs, first holidays together as a married couple, the start of MaieDae!! -- and so much more. I started 365 before I began this blog, so most of you have just jumped into the tail-end of my project, but keep on the lookout this week for a special post (image heavy) of all 365 photos! Here are the final four photos:

Project 365: Day 355-361

This week, I have been playing catch up on some design projects and having my wonderful father-in-law "papa" help Jon and I file our taxes. I'm so thankful for helpful parents! AND I finally decided on bedding for our room (see this post.) Can't wait to show you! -- Only four days left on Project 365. Bittersweet. :)

Project 365: Day 341-347

This week has been filled to the brim with crafts. We are getting ready for our first show at a Christian women's conference near Atlanta, so every spare minute has been filled with making flowers, jewelry, getting our display together, and designing print pieces. I can't WAIT!  We are selling this Thursday and Friday...so I'll be sure to show pictures of the event. Also, everything we don't sell will start showing it's face in the shop. I've got some new pieces and fabrics and that are just beautiful...

I cannot believe I'm only 18 days away from finishing my 365! I'll be doing a fun tribute post at the end of my project. Right now I'm just trying to decide if I'll continue into year two...or wait??

This week has been amazing. I returned to my love from almost a week and a half in San Antonio. We wrapped up this weekend by going on a short ski trip in North Carolina with my family. A peaceful way to end a long work week.

Project 365: Day 327-333

BUSY week! I've been gone since Tuesday, working with production and graphics at the Chick-fil-A seminar. The days have been long, but I have been productive. I have put so much design work into this seminar and it's just blowing my mind to see my work around every corner! I do, however, miss my husband. I wish he could be here to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Happy Valentine's to you! This week, we went on a double date with our friends to see Romeo & Juliet. Yesterday, my sweetheart surprised me with a gorgeous little pair of diamond studs! I mentioned that I might want a pair months ago and he remembered!! I love how thoughtful he is. He makes my heart so happy.

Great week! Worked on a handful of design projects, did some planning for MaieDae, and today is Sunday which means family day!
